Dr. Tara Pawliwec grew up in Brantford, ON in a family surrounded by medicine. Her strong love for animals and interest in medicine guided her into the perfect career of veterinary medicine. She graduated from The University of Western Ontario and then graduated from Veterinary Medicine at the University College Dublin in 2016. She lived in Dublin, Ireland where she enjoyed the Irish culture and living abroad for four years.
After graduating, Dr. Tara moved back to Canada, where she worked in a small animal low income, non-profit hospital in London, ON that focused on spay/neuter. She has a strong interest in surgery, neurology and dermatology. Dr. Tara’s goal is to make neurological issues easier to understand and to prevent all animals from being itchy. Dr. Tara understands how frustrating allergies and itchiness can be, and hopes to solve this issue for both pets and their owners. On her time off, Dr. Tara loves to travel, bake and spend quality time with her husband and family/friends. Dr. Tara rescued a senior diabetic cat, who has now been in remission for 5 years.
